THE BASIC ISLAMIC BELIEF

What is meant by the basic Islamic teaching is the teaching of the Islamic Faith (Aqeedah). The Islamic Faith is devided into:

1. Existance of God (Uluhiyyah)
2. Prophets(Nubuwwah)
3. What have been conveyed (Sam'iyat)
4. The Unseen (Ruhaniyyat)
These are the basic teaching of Islam. It is indeed difficult to translate these term into English because of the lack of the English word for them.
Tawheed

Among the teaching of Islam which fall under the category of belief in God is the concep of Tawheed. Tawheed is central to the teaching of Islam,i.e. God is alone, no association with Him whatsoever. There is no Triune concept of God like in Christianity or Panthiesm as in Hinduism (God is in everything and everything is God) but why does the word Tawheed does not appear in the Quran. Wait a minute! read this verse in Chapter 74: 11

74:11 Leave Me alone, (to deal) with the (creature) whom I created (bare and) alone!-

And please check the number of times the word alone (wahidaan) appears in the Quran. It is only used in the Quran one time only.

The Word Wahidaan

Allah is alone. He must not be associated with other being.

IMAN and KUFR
Iman is to believe in Allah, His Angels,His prophets, His Books (Revealed Books of Quran, Injeel,Zaboor and Tawrah), The Doomsday (Qiyamah) and Qada' and Qadr (No parallel word in English to translate these words), and Kufr is to deny them. The word al-Iman and al-Kufr, two word with the oppossing meanings appear in the Quran in different verses but see how many times they are repeated in the Quran!

The word al-Iman

The Word al-Kufr

The word al-Iman is repeated 17 times and the word al-Kufr is also repeated 17 times in the Quran. Can anyone of you mentioned the name of a book which has this pattern of layout which you have read before?

The World and The Hereafter

The world where we are living now is a temporary abode according to Islam. Humanbeing live temporarily in this world, nobody will live forever in this world and the destiny of human being is the Hereafter where we are living a perpertual life. The Christians, the Jews and the Muslims believe the existnce of Hereafter. The Hindus and Buddhist believe in the Rebirth and ultimately Nirvana (ultimate bliss). Wait a minute! How many times is the word The World (ad-Dunya is repeated in the Quran?) to know just look at the scanned word from the Dictionary of the Quran! How many time is the word The World "Ad-Dunya" is repeated in the Quran? It is 115 times. But how many time is the opposing word The Hereafter (al-Akheerat) is repeated in the Quran!. It is also repeated 115 times! Do you think it is trivial, not important, not amazing! it is up to you to think and to ponder. There is no compulsion to believe!

The Word Ad-Dunya

The word Al-Akheerat

So the word The World (ad-Dunya) is repeated 115 times in the Quran and the Hereafter )al-Akheerat) is repeated 115times. Do you think it is just a mere coincidence that the words are repeated at the same frequencies.
